John Grundhoefer has over 45 years experience in audio mixing, sound quality, and all things cool about audio. Sound extraordinaire. Audio aficionado. He started his electronics career by getting a degree and pursued all things electrical and electronic. He worked for the past 45 years as a computer engineer in the computer industry and always had time for his love of audio and live music production and application.
"I started my audio electronics career back in my college days while at Auburn. I’ve always been fascinated with both electronics and the artistry of music and live music production. I repair audio equipment and anything in electronics or electrical. I’ve been doing sound for live bands since the 1970’s. I have run live sound for Menagerie, Sailor, Will Ackerman, Allen Hinds, Bill Pound, Mirage, The Reunion Band, Swingtown, Grundy Brothers, BC Boys, The Uneven, Frank Smith, Uncle Russ, Greg Drews and the Truth and many others. I have installed sound systems in the Marietta Museum of History, St. Catherine’s Church, St. Michaels Church, North Cobb High School gym and baseball field, and many others. My PA equipment is based on JBL Professional loudspeakers, Yamaha, Allen and Health, Soundcraft and Midas mixers, Crown, Yamaha and Mackie power amplifiers, Shure and EV and AKG microphones."
